I had the pleasure of shooting with the talented Dave Delvecchio earlier this month. This is the first time I’ve done a shoot with a polaroid camera with actual film that you peel apart! 15 seconds and voila!
Everything has gone digital these days, that it’s hard to remember that back in the day film was something you could physically touch. Looking at film negatives was one of my favourite things to do and developing a roll at the store was such a treat because you were never quite sure of what would come out.
Dave’s concept was inspired by Peter Lindenberg’s black and white photography work. I think Dave got a lot of great shots! He used both a Polaroid camera and his DSLR for the shoot.
